Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment. Rescheduling: You may reschedule your appointment up to 48 hours before the scheduled time. Cancellation: If you cancel your appointment within 48 hours of the scheduled time, or fail to attend your appointment without providing sufficient notice, your deposit will not be refunded. Release & Liability Waiver: You agree to receive services from student stylists at Behind the Chair Institute (BTC). In exchange, you release BTC, its instructors, etc. (Released Parties) from liability for injuries, unsatisfactory results, allergic reactions, etc. Services by Students: You acknowledge services are by students under supervision. Skin Patch Test: You understand some chemical services can cause allergic reactions. A 24-hour skin patch test is recommended (offered upon request). You assume full responsibility for declining it. Medical Insurance: You are responsible for obtaining medical insurance for unforeseen needs. Product Risks: You acknowledge beauty products can have risks like allergic reactions, etc. You assume all risks. No Refund Policy: BTC has a no-refund policy for services rendered. Non-Disparagement: You agree not to make negative comments about BTC or its services publicly. Social Media Opt-Out: [ ] I DO NOT consent to pictures for BTC social media. Client Agreement (if opting in): I understand BTC may take pictures for social media and I will not receive compensation. I can revoke consent by written notice. Governing Law: This Agreement is governed by Texas law. Entire Agreement: This Agreement supersedes all prior agreements. Severability: If any part of this Agreement is found invalid, the remaining parts will still be enforceable. Binding Effect: This Agreement is binding on both parties and their successors. Client Acknowledgment: By signing, you acknowledge reading and understanding this Agreement and agree to be bound by its terms and conditions.
